Conclusion
It's quite evident to me that Wendy's rape will have no effect on her life whatsoever, not only because she'd experienced them before, but even more, because it seems to me like nothing is going to have a long effect on her. She giggled through most of her interview as she recounted her story, which, to some, could have been tragic.
Wendy's story is quite similar to another true-to-life account that's detailed in the smash hit motion picture "Waterpower" only the incident in the film is ten times as harrowing. I recommended the film to the young girl because I think she should see how terrifying a situation like that could be. Perhaps she'll no longer look at her experience as a joke, but something more.
