Conclusion

I am always happy to see a change in my patients over a passage of time and I think that Merrily is strong enough to get over what happened to her. It's easy to see how intelligent the girl is in coming to grips with what happened to her. The first thing that she did was go see the rapist, and she was lucky in having the opportunity to see him and talk to him through bars.

I think this experience also gave Merrily a new insight into people, about trusting them, about being able to tell when someone is lying to her, and even an awareness of one person's relationship to another.

The latter is most definitely apparent in her attitude about two willing people getting into an enema scene. But, she says, there's no reason to inflict something like that upon an unwilling victim. I couldn't have put it better myself.
