Conclusion
Never in my life had I come across a situation such as this. This is one person I truly believe has been lost to a normal life. It is difficult to lay the blame only on the sexual abuse this child has experienced. Her family-background and early experiences are far from the norm.
It may well be, though, that the tenacity this girl has for life will hold her together and see her through a more than difficult adolescent period into maturity. She may be wise in the terrible ways, but that is no substitute for maturity and happiness. It will take years of therapy to help this one girl. Perhaps love may come along to help her get a jump on the stability she needs.
