Conclusion
This was a terrible, tragic scene for a young girl to have to endure. I told Debbie that under no circumstances was she to return home, that she should wait in my office and I would have her put in a foster home for protection.
Child abuse is a criminal offense, and it was my duty as a doctor to report her parents to the police. Perhaps their malady could be cured by intensive care in a state psychiatric ward.
Debbie, I would place in a home where the parents could love and protect her. I also recommended that she undergo therapy as an out-patient. Especially important, I felt, was that the young girl be reunited with her boyfriend, who could show her what true love and understanding really was.
GENERAL CONCLUSION
As the reader can deduce from the preceding case histories, bondage, spanking and discipline can have very varied effects. These effects depend basically on two main factors. First of these is the young girl whom these practices are affecting. How mature is she? How intelligent? What kind of a home life does she have? What have her previous sexual experiences consisted of?
The second main factor is the personality of the person or persons with whom the young girl is engaging in these practices. Male of female? Is the person younger or of the same age or older? Most important, what is the attitude of this person? Are they fond of the girl, and do they intend that the introduction of these practices into their mutual sex life will serve to enhance her pleasure? Or are their intentions pathological? That is, do they simply regard the young girl as a victim, some one to hurt and severely punish?
I think it imperative that these questions be answered before anyone decides to introduce a young girl to the pleasure of pain.
