Chapter 6

Chris had taken her double-headed dildo out of the night table drawer now and had inserted one end up her cunt and the other end up Lila's.

It had taken some time to get Lila used to this sensation of fucking someone while getting fucked at the same time. Now she liked it very much and heaved her bucking hips into Chris's pelvis as though her cunt was battery-operated.

The long, thick, rubbery cock was slippery with their juices and moved easily in and out of both their cunts.

Chris was on top of Lila, as that's the way she liked it. Sometimes, she let Lila get on top of her, but this always made her feel awkward and she didn't like it. SHE wanted to run the show and taking the upper position in their fucking assured her that she was on top in their relationship. But inside, Chris felt her hold on Lila was slipping.

It wasn't only because of what Lila had done the other night either. There was something about Lila that Chris didn't trust. Inside, when she was being honest with herself, she knew that Lila was only marking time with her, until she could escape to someone else.

Every time Chris thought that would happen, her chest would constrict with fear which she would convert to rage, accusing Lila of everything under the sun.

Lila usually laughed at Chris's tirades and this only served to drive Chris even further up a tree.

Take THAT! Chris was thinking as she pushed the cock deeper inside Lila's cunt. But Lila just pushed her end of the cock harder into Chris's box and Chris felt as though they were playing tug of war. She stopped heaving the cock inside Lila's cunt and yanked it out instead.

It escaped from Lila's cunt with a loud popping sound, but Lila didn't complain. Then Chris reached for the remains of the chocolate pudding that was now melting on the night table. Smearing the goo around Lila's cunt, she carefully licked it off as though she was a mother cat taking care of her kitten. Lila liked this much better. She fell into a kind of dreamlike state, fondling Chris's hair, but thinking about Carol.

It had been Chris's idea that she get together with Carol. Meeting her on the street had just been a lucky break, though Chris had instructed her to shop in that store.

Ellen had approached Chris with Elizabeth's plan and Chris had overcome her feelings towards Ellen for the sake of easy money. She didn't know Carol, had never seen her to her knowledge, so Carol was as remote to her as a person could be. Lila had gone along with the plan because it sounded like kicks to her, but Chris had failed in the first place by not photographing the two of them that morning she and Carol had made love. This had filled Lila with contempt for Chris and she found her sympathies going more and more towards Carol.

If there was one thing Lila had never had in her eternal quest for the ideal partner, it was someone like Carol. Now, as Chris lay between her legs, eating out her cunt, Lila pretended that it was Carol and the two of them were living together.

Chris sensed a remoteness on Lila's part but she didn't know what caused it. Rather than worry about it, she threw herself into her love-making as though knowing their time together would end soon.

While Chris was making love to Lila, Lila was already planning on seeing Carol. In fact, Chris did have to go to work later in the restaurant and Lila was going to look for Carol.

Then, despite her fantasies, her cunt began to contract in the throes of orgasm. She held on tightly to Chris's head, biting her lip to avoid crying out Carol's name. They were still for awhile, until Chris reluctantly disengaged herself from between Lila's legs and went to the bathroom. Returning in a few minutes dressed for work, she approached Lila on the bed and kissed her goodbye.

"Don't wait up for me," she told Lila.

Lila didn't say anything. She was wondering what Chris's reaction would be when she returned to the empty apartment.

After the door had closed behind Chris, Lila stared at it for a long time. It was her hope that she would never see Chris again. This made her feel sad also, for Chris, despite her violent temper had been good to her.

Lila then went into the bathroom, showered and dressed. Going to the phone she dialed Carol and told her she wanted to see her They settled on a place to meet and hung up.

Carol stared at the phone, dazed. She couldn't believe that Lila was making a move towards her for a change, but she didn't want to question its validity.

She practically ran to the coffee shop that Lila had instructed her to meet her at. Lila was already there. Carol slipped into the booth next to her and they sat there, staring at each other for a while, until Lila smiled.

A waitress came over and took their order and then Lila began speaking. She quickly told Carol about Chris's cooperation with Ellen in Carol's mother's scheme. She finished with the suggestion that they go away together. "Anywhere," she urged. "I'm sick of the Village."

Carol just gaped at Lila. She must care for me, she thought. But having her dream come true with such startling reality threw her. It was too good to be true.

"Can you go?" she asked Lila slowly. "I mean what if Chris comes after us?"

Lila looked at Carol scornfully. "Got cold feet?" she asked. It had never occurred to her that Carol might hesitate.

"No," Carol said, throwing money down to cover their check. "Let's get out of here."

They went back to Carol's place to get her car and a few things. "Help yourself to any of my clothes," Carol invited, noting that Lila had only the clothes on her back.

Lila merrily packed a suitcase full of Carol's things and the two of them soon found themselves roaring through the Lincoln Tunnel.

"Where did you want to go?" Carol asked Lila gaily. She had the means to go anywhere and having Lila with her made the whole world seem their playground.

"Why don't we go to California?" Lila asked. She had never been to California and the idea appealed to her.

Carol thought how her father had his business in San Francisco and how surprised and pleased he would be to see her out there.

"I wish you had said something earlier," Carol said. "We could have flown!"

Lila laughed. "We can still fly," she said. "Just drive to Newark and well park the car!"

"Great!" Carol said. She flew towards Newark, glad that she had remembered her credit cards. They left the Mercedes in the monthly parking lot, just in case they were gone for awhile, and Carol bought both their tickets.

As they sat in the lounge waiting for their flight, Carol kept glancing at Lila. Lila had seemed to change. She seemed more open and happier, more like the night when Carol had first seen her in the Cat.

"I'm sorry you have to pay for everything," Lila said as Carol laid out the money for their second round of drinks. "I guess you kind of bombed out with me, seeing that I don't have any bucks."

She took a sip of her Tom Collins. Carol decided to end this bullshit once and for all.

"Look," she told Lila. "Let's not worry about the money aspect, okay? I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot you would do the same for me."

That kind of ended that and Lila made a note to herself that Carol was uptight about the fact that she had money. Lila decided to drop it for good.

"The only thing that concerns me about this lark," Carol admitted, "is not the money, but my job!"

In her joy at being alone with Lila, she had forgotten completely that she was supposed to go to work Monday. Maybe she could call her writer and tell him that her father was sick and she had to split to San Francisco.

"I'll be right back," she told Lila abruptly, going to the area marked Public Phones.

Her copywriter promised to tell their creative director and Carol told him where the layouts were on the project they had worked on together. When she returned to the lounge, she couldn't see Lila.

Panic flooded Carol. She had been feeling so satisfied that things were working out for them that she had to guard against taking Lila for granted. Fighting off her fear, Carol sat back down, hoping that Lila had only gone to the ladies room.

She was rewarded in a few minutes when Lila strolled back into the lounge, looking refreshed. Carol noticed how other people stared at the striking Lila and it made her feel proud knowing that they were together. She could hardly wait until they got to San Francisco and were safely ensconced in the biggest bed she could find.

"Flight 147, TWA to San Francisco is now loading at Gate 5," came the smooth voice of the woman announcer.

The girls gulped the rest of their drinks and headed towards the loading ramp. Lila's heart was pounding. It was amazing to her how her life was changing so quickly just because she had made the break from Chris. But every time she thought of Chris, her heart skipped a bit. She would never feel safe from Chris, she decided. Chris just wouldn't let go.

Lila remembered easily how their first few weeks together had been filled with Chris's tirades against Ellen, and even though Lila thought Chris was going through this for her benefit, it still frightened her.

But once she was seated next to Carol on the almost deserted plane, she felt better.

After the stewardess had taken their drink order, Carol asked Lila. "Do you think she's gay?"

This was a game Carol and Lila both enjoyed playing. To them every girl they met either was gay actively, or didn't know she was!

"Yeah," Lila said. "Didn't you see the way she looked at us?"

Carol nodded. "We're not so obvious as you and Chris would be, though," she told Lila, watching her reaction to Chris's name.

Lila laughed. "Shit!" she said. "It was hard not to look like a couple of lezzies in HER company!"

The stewardess came back with their drinks.

"You two sisters?" she asked them.

Carol and Lila laughed. "No," Carol said. "Why?"

"I didn't think so," the stewardess said. She didn't seem to be in any hurry to leave. Carol looked at her short brown hair and the way her ears had tiny button earrings inside them.

"Any fun places in Frisco where two girls can have a good time?" she asked.

The stewardess's thin lips stretched into a smile. "Depends on what kind of a good time you're looking for," she said. "Like a singles bar you mean?"

"Not exactly," Lila said. She gazed unflinchingly into the stewardess's eyes. The stew, Tina, got the message.

"There's a place me and my friends go," she said, looking around at the other passengers, most of whom were sleeping. "You two might like it. I'll write it down for you."

She disappeared to get some paper and Carol nudged Lila. "Let's ask her if she wants to come with us," she suggested. "It'll be fun!"

"Sure," Lila said. "Maybe the three of us can get it on!"

"Hey!" Carol protested. "You're not with me more than a couple of hours and already you're looking to make it with someone else!"

"Well, you'll be there!" Lila insisted. "It's not like I want to go to bed with her alone!"

Tina came back then and slipped a piece of paper to Carol. Carol read the address and showed it to Lila. "What are you doing after your flight?" she asked the stewardess.

Tina yawned, covering her perfect teeth with her hand. "I'm going to sleep!" she said. "I really went through the mill last night!"

"Why don't you sleep with ... I mean, why don't you come with us?" Lila invited. "What hotel are you staying at?"

Tina told them and said she would think about it. Then she had to attend to another passenger. Carol thought it would be a good idea if they got some sleep and Lila agreed. The drinks, the excitement and the altitude were catching up to them now and they fell asleep holding hands.

Ron, the Steward walked down the aisles, sniffing primly as he saw Carol and Lila sleeping, their heads resting on each other's shoulders. Though Ron was homosexual himself, he didn't like girls at all, even gay girls. He had noticed Tina yapping with these two and he disliked her more than ever.

She was coming towards him now in the narrow aisle and he moved to one side with distaste as though hating to even touch her.

"Fuck you!" Tina hissed. She got along with most faggots, but Ron was so nasty and she found him impossible. He also had a big mouth.

"Lezzie!" Ron sniffed and continued down the aisle. There was no way Tina could assume it was talking about her or the two sleeping girls, but she felt like cutting his balls off. One of these days, her fantasy went, she was going to push him out the Emergency Exit door and that would be the end of Ron!

Tina sat down in an empty seat by the galley and lit a cigarette. She was tired, but she was toying with the idea of going off with the two girls who were now sleeping. She especially liked the one called Lila. Lila reminded Tina of the chick she had been with last night when she was layed over in Newark.

It was hard for Tina to determine how tight Carol and Lila were, but she had the suspicion that Lila would be open for anything. Snuffing out her cigarette, Tina tried to get a few winks of sleep herself. It would be two more hours before they would land and this late flight was quiet.

She hated flying days. Businessmen were constantly pinching her ass and coming onto her and it was all Tina could do to control herself from hauling off and smashing the shit out of their dumb faces.

Last week she had a passenger that was so obtuse he even sought her out in the airport, following her like a horny dog intent on slamming his cock in her cunt.

Tina had almost been forced to call the airport police, but she didn't want to make a scene. Finally the guy had split and Tina thought that was the end of that until he came up to her in the hotel lobby.

"Don't be so hard to get!" the handsome dude had said, flashing her a dazzling smile.

"Look," Tina had countered. "I'm not interested, okay?"

"Sure you are," he had insisted. "You stews are all the same. Big bitches in the sky but a piece of cake once you land."

Tina silently swore at the girl who had written that Coffee, Tea or Me book for the thousandth time. The myth of the horny stew had haunted her ever since she got her wings.

"That's what you think, buster," she had shot back.

"Come on, honey, you're cute," the clod said. "Let's have a drink together."

"If you don't get away from me, I'm going to call the security guards," Tina said. Her eyes flashed at him.

But he laughed and tried to pull her by the arm towards the bar. Tina had hauled off and slapped him hard across the face then and the sound of her palm on his facial flesh made such a huge sound, people turned to stare.

It was his turn now to send a look of hatred at Tina. "What are you?" he had raged. "A fucking lesbian?!"

"Yeah, you've got it," Tina hissed and stomped off to the desk.

Just thinking about him got Tina too agitated to sleep. She decided to take a piss instead. Making her way towards the john, she noted the Occupied sign and swore under her breath.

She hadn't noticed anyone going in there and wondered which of her passengers was causing her this inconvenience.

Just then, the door opened and Lila came out. She froze when she saw Tina and Tina smiled.

"Hi honey!" Tina said. "Now that I know it was you, I'm not so pissed off!"

Lila smiled. She could feel her desire for Tina growing between her legs and knew that she could never wait to get to San Francisco before satisfying it.

"Sorry," she said, but she made no move to let Tina in the John.

"Is your friend still sleeping?" Tina asked carefully. Lila nodded. "You two been together long?" Tina wanted to know.

"Not very long," Lila admitted. She didn't want to blow her scene with Carol, yet she didn't want to discourage her attraction to Tina either.

"I've decided to join you two," Tina told her. "I know how it is to be alone in a strange city."

Hearing that Tina definitely would be with them later brought Lila to her senses. "Well see you later," she said then, and moved out from the entrance to the John. Tina gave her a warm, meaningful smile and winked. "Glad to hear it " she said. Then she was gone.

Lila walked back to her seat feeling both guilty and excited at the same time. She looked at the sleeping Carol with a feeling of affection. Once she was seated by her again, Lila forgot Tina. She wondered about her sexuality before dropping off to doze again. It seemed as though she was animalistic in her desire for each new cunt that came down the pike of her short life.

The Fasten Seat Belts sign came on then and Lila woke up Carol. Carol struggled into consciousness, trying to remember where the fuck she was. She stared at Lila's face and then it all came back. She woke up instantly then, eager to share her friend's company.

As they were debarking, Tina said more than she normally would to a departing passenger.

"I'll be out in front," she told them. "Get your luggage and meet me there."

It didn't escape Carol that Tina had looked meaningfully at Lila. She could feel her insecurity asserting its ugly head and she fought against imagining that the whole world was in love with Lila as she was.

True to her word, Tina was waiting for them. She led the way to her car and in a bit the three of them were driving up the El Camino Real towards San Francisco.

"I'm domiciled here," she told them, "so we might as well go to my place first. I'll see that you check into your hotel later."

Both Carol and Lila were content to let Tina direct their evening, though Carol was eager to call her father and let him know that they were there. Maybe he would invite both Lila and her to stay at his place and they wouldn't have to put up with the cold impersonality of a hotel.

As for Lila, she was hoping that Tina would invite them to stay at her apartment. She was sure that Tina's apartment would be nice, hopefully a high-rise with a great view of the city and the bridge. It was. Tina had thrown the door open with a flourish, announcing, "Hi Home!"

"You girls want to freshen up a bit, go ahead," she invited. "I've got two Johns."

"Great," Lila was quick to say. She disappeared with Tina. Carol spotted the phone and went to ask Tina for permission to call her father. She heard the two of them giggling behind the bathroom door and rapped teasingly on it, trying to hide the worry in her voice.

"Hey you two!" she yelled. "What the hell is going on in there?"

Tina opened the door quickly, her face flushed. Carol looked in to see Lila all stripped out of her clothes, getting ready to take a shower. The sight of her nude body sent quivers through Carol, but she asked Tina about the phone instead. Tina was only too happy to deflect Carol's attention away from the bathroom and was quick to tell her to feel free to call. "Anywhere," she added. "Don't worry about the tolls."

Carol went back into the living room feeling worse than ever. Well, she decided philosophically, better to get it on with Tina and Lila at the same time than to leave the two of them alone!

Her father's deep voice was heavy with pleasure when he learned that Carol was in his city.

"You two should stay with me," he said. "It's foolish, to blow your money on a hotel bill. Not," he added, "that you don't have it!"

And he laughed loudly.

"I'll see what Lila has to say about it," Carol said. She explained to her father that they had met Tina and were at her apartment right now.

"No kidding!" her father said. "I know her!"

"You do?" Carol asked.

"Honey, when you've flown back and forth as many times as I have, you get to know them all."

"Oh," Carol said. She wondered if her father knew Tina was a lesbian.

"She's a cold fish," her lather went on to say, and Carol thought ruefully to herself that Tina was acting anything BUT cold around Lila!

She gave Phil her address and phone number and told them they were going out. Or, at least she HOPED they were going out. Phil said for her to let him know what their plans would be and hung up.

Carol went back towards the bathroom, hoping to catch the two of them doing something, but Lila was drying herself off, alone.

"Tina's getting dressed," she informed Carol. "Why don't you shower?"

Carol didn't answer right away. She put her arms around her beloved Lila and hugged her. But Lila recoiled slightly.

"What's the matter?" Carol asked, hurt.

"Nothing," Lila answered lightly. "It's just that I'm all keyed up. I have to unwind."

Carol accepted this excuse up front but inside she felt that already Lila was growing tired of her. She showered and joined both Tina and Lila in the living room. They were dancing. Carol went over to the bar and mixed herself a drink. Coming to San Francisco didn't seem like such a good idea after all! She had half a mind to fly back to Newark and leave Lila here alone. The only thing that prevented her from doing this was the knowledge that even without any money, Lila would make up just fine. Like a bandit, actually!

"Come on!" Tina invited, gesturing that Carol should join them in their dance.

Why not? Carol thought. The three of them would be dancing around in bed later anyway!

As she began to get into dancing with the other two, Carol began to relax. She was having a good time now and regretted thinking that she should go back to New York. Tina was a good dancer and she was able to handle both girls as partners with ease.

They were all drinking wine now and smoking grass and the idea of leaving the safety of the apartment was less appealing than it had been earlier. As a matter of fact, Carol was content to stay right where she was. At least for this night.

While they sat around on the living room floor, Carol suddenly remembered her father. Maybe if she invited Phil over he would see that Tina wasn't such a cold fish after all. And, if the two of them got it on together, that would deflect Tina's interest from Lila.

"Do you ever make it with guys?" she blurted, emboldened by the wine and grass.

Tina didn't take offence. "Sometimes," she said. "When I need the bucks."

"You mean you fuck for money!" Lila has squealed like a little kid. "Heavy!"

"Mind if I invite my father here?" Carol asked. Tina shrugged. "Not at all," she said. "That might be a gas!"

Carol stumbled to the phone and in a few minutes her father had promised to join them.

Now Carol really felt relaxed. With her father on the premises, who knew what would happen? Maybe for old times' sake, she, Carol, might even fuck him. That would get her over her hang-up with him once and for all!

Smiling to herself over the idea of fucking her father, Carol was startled to hear the door bell ringing a few minutes later.

"Is that Phil already?" Tina asked, jumping to her feet and going to the inter-com.

"I guess he lives near here," Carol said.

"Maybe he even lives in the building?" Lila giggled. Carol shot her an annoyed look. She couldn't explain it, but she was so pissed off over the obvious attraction that Lila felt towards Tina, that Carol wanted to hurt her.

Tina had opened the door now and Carol glanced up to see the handsome Phil framed in the doorway. Carol introduced everyone and made fresh drinks. Phil sat on the couch easily, his thighs parted slightly, a bemused look on his face. So, this was his daughter the lesbian in action! He was surprised that it excited more than repulsed him and he hoped that they would all make it together. He would love to watch!

If Tina was attracted to Phil, she gave no outward indication of it, but was merely polite in her disinterest. As for Phil, he had already decided if there was one thing he was going to do that evening, it was fuck the living bejesus out of the aloof Tina. He got off the couch and went up to her. Taking her empty glass from her hand, he said: "Relax honey. Let me wait on you for a change!"

Tina liked that right away. At last, she thought, a man who realizes how fucking hard we work on those damn planes!
