Introduction
I am a practicing psychoanalyst in a large hospital in Chicago. For many years now, I have been actively engaged in counseling and specifically directed toward helping teen-agers establish and maintain sexual identities.
During a recent seminar on Freudian manifestations of the ego, my colleagues and I came to the conclusion that there is a dearth of material available on such subjects as sex among teen age girls, age fourteen to nineteen.
Naturally being a specialist in the field, I was chosen to make public my findings for this series in the Dr. Lamb library of socio-sexual activities.
I began an extensive compiling of data which had been accumulated over the years, especially for this project. This material was gathered in the for of personal interviews with many young girls who had been engaging in sexual activities in their teens.
What follows is a compilation of the material in question, selected for the relevancy and timeliness of interest.
This is one of many volumes depicting the varied sexual interests in our society. It is hoped that this series will do its part in clearing the age old myths from sexual subjects and bringing them into the light of scientific understanding.
It is also hoped that some deep looks will be taken into adolescent sexuality, especially among young females, and that lessons will be gained.
