Introduction
The path to sexual enjoyment has many branches.
Suppose we draw a straight line on a piece of paper, calling this line the normal path—or the missionary position—-of sexual relations. Then, starting at the bottom of the line, we make branches, labeling them as to the deviations considered by many as abnormal. By the time you are finished, there will be many branches . .. fellatio, cunnilingus, anal intercourse, analingus, fetishes of every sort.
One of those branches will be labeled pleasure-pain. Whether or not this particular branch can be considered as a sadistic or masochistic form of sexual pleasure is in dispute by many authorities. The reason for this seems to be the degree of pain and/or method it is administered.
Spanking is considered to be a mild form of pleasure-pain. Some attribute this sexual act to the Marquis de Sade, but it is of my opinion that this gentleman would not have bothered himself with such a mild form of amusement.
We cannot argue that the spanker has strong sadistic urges, or that the recipient of the paddle is not masochistically oriented. The true masochist responds to having his or her body bound with ropes or restrained by straps and various other devices and he sexually reacts to the futility of his or her predicament and to his complete dependence on the whims and mercy of his tormenter, especially if he retains a sexual affection for the one who has restrained him or her. As he strains and pleads for freedom, he calls upon his sexually conditioned emotions and evolves pleasure from the pain, gearing his or her responses to the amount of arousal needed to obtain a sexual orgasm.
The sights and sounds of a spanking may actually be more gratifying to the spanker than is the climax which results, while it is the stinging pain on the buttocks that will bring the required orgasm to the spankee. Again the degree of the spanking--the pleasure-pain--received depends on the individual. Some men and women find a distinct pleasure in merely pantomiming a spanking through the application of light lore-taps to a partner's naked bottom.
Some sexologists and social behaviorist claim that the urge toward masochism, which is the very opposite of sadism, is caused by a sense of guilt in the person afflicted. He, or she, feels that self-crimes must be punished and so desire to have someone inflict physical pain upon them, and particularly on the naked buttocks. The sadist is, according to those reputedly in the know, one who desires to see others suffer for their own sins, or in payment for the sins of the sadist inflicting punishment upon others who is too cowardly to punish himself, or herself, for their own transgressions against society's moral code.
There are many versions of the causes and effects of both sadism and masochism; each sexologist, psychologist, psychiatrist--and social behaviorists--incessantly adding their own interpretations of these maladies to findings of learned authorities already heralded in the world of thinkers and sinner, and plain ordinary sympathizers with the mentally disturbed.
This study is not about mentally disturbed men and women. It is about those who desire, and seek, sexual orgasm by spanking ... or being spanked.
It comes as no surprise that the dominant person in such spanking activities is the female. The woman, long the ruler of home and children, has been saddled with the discipline of such children, which, of course, involves spanking to some degree. It is also no surprise to find that some of these women derive a great deal of sexual pleasure by spanking, and that the child on many occasions will achieve an orgasm during the paddling.
In the following pages, you will meet and study the women who enjoy spanking the buttocks of either male or female--in some instances, both. You will also meet those who desire having their bottoms spanked, and understand their sexual reactions to the pleasure-pain administered.
It is hoped that I have in some small way contributed to the further understanding of those dominant women who relish a naked pair of buttocks, who thrill in sexual excitement by turning the white flesh into a brilliant pink by paddling.
