Foreword

Roger Moret was a young man in a hurry. At home, he had been caught cheating at cards and in bed with another man's wife. It was time for a change of scene and it was with no regrets that Roger caught a train west, forging a ticket and hoping for the best on his journey.

The train was full of young women and men with enough money to get into a card game, just the kind of action the young man relished. He had but a hundred dollars with him but a few lucky hands replenished his fortunes to the point where he felt confident of his luck.

But then trouble arose for Roger, in the shape of a fat traveling salesman who was trying to cheat him at the card table. Despite his success with several of the ladies on the train, Roger was worried about the man, who seemed to resent his younger rival's success with women and money.

By the time the train raid ended, Roger had managed to become intimately acquainted with no fewer than six of the women passengers. However, the fat salesman had taken his revenge and now the handsome youth stood in danger of spending the next ten years locked up in jail.

Roger managed to escape with the help of June, a strange woman who had bedded him and then ignored him completely. He still had one ace left in his deck, Nan, a girl who had gotten off the train in Arizona, after pledging him her undying love. She was the only one who could hide him from the law.

Their reunion turned out to be passionate and provocative for both young lovers!
