Conclusion
It is obvious that we have here a very serious problem, and that Mr. Trumbull ought to be removed from the school and put in jail. To rape a young girl is immoral, and that unless people like him were put away, they could just go on fucking as much as they wanted.
As far as she was concerned, I said I would help her get over her fear, and that together, all three of us, myself, Arlene, and Bobby, would work together to see that she realizes that she is indeed loved, and she should in no way feel guilty for having been raped. It wasn't her fault, and that sex was indeed beautiful, but only if there is love and affection coupled with it. Brutal rape cannot be condoned, and the scars that it leaves on people, particularly young people is incalculable.
Mr. Trumbull obviously was deranged, and anyone who needs to have sex with unwilling teenaged girls is sick I told Arlene that he needed treatment a lot more than she did. She still is, however, coming to see me, a perfect example of the damage that people like Mr. Trumbull can inflict on young and still-forming minds. There is no excuse for people like Mr. Trumbull, and he should be made to pay the full penalty for what he had done to young
Arlene. I am happy to say that as of right now, he is indeed in jail, and unable to teach.
