Introduction
Even though it is an integral part of human nature, no two people interpret or respond to the sex urge in exactly the same way. For some people the basic need for sexual expression results in shame, guilt and general frustration. For the more enlightened men and women the desire for sex usually results in an opportunity to happily enjoy one of life's most precious gifts.
It is a sad fact that there are many more of the former than there are of the latter in our society today. Psychological conflicts caused by events in childhood often continue for a lifetime. This is especially true where the subject of sex is concerned. Taught that it is immoral to give way to perfectly natural sexual desires while waiting for the far-off day to experience sexual pleasures with a legal husband or wife, it shouldn't be surprising that so many young people are so sexually frustrated and so filled with feelings of shame and guilt.
The fact that the so-called authorities, both in the field of medicine and those more interested in matters of the soul or spirit, have no specific answers understood by the person of even average intelligence certainly doesn't lessen the problem.
It seems that it is left up to the individual, young and old, to just blunder along searching for a solution to what too often turns out to be an insolvable situation. Bombarded from all sides with direct and indirect messages proclaiming that sexual intercourse even in marriage was wicked and sinful except for the intentional begetting of children, many parents even in this supposedly modern civilization still pass their various sexual hang-ups along to their offspring's.
There is even a segment of our society still trying to suppress sexual information and knowledge, seemingly in the mistaken belief that ignorance is bliss. These misguided extremists seem to really believe that book-burning will destroy ideas-which is a fallacy, of course, as there have been such pleasure-hating people throughout history and the very ideas that they try to suppress go on and on long after they are gone. And so it will be with these modern would-be censors, trying to influence their fellow man by the suppression of the freedom of expression instead of by sensible education.
This is the story of one young girl's escape from the frustrations of sexual hang-ups through her own somewhat unorthodox efforts...
