Chapter 17
"Hit me, baby. Hit me."
The dealer hit Brian.
"Oh, yeah!" he whooped.
He now had twenty and stood on it. The dealer, the same sour-faced man who had taken him for four hundred dollars a couple of weeks ago, busted out and began paying Brian. He stacked up ten new black chips beside his original bet. Since one thousand dollars was the maximum bet, Brian could not let all of it ride, so he gave the winnings to Drew to put in her purse. There was no more space on the table in front of him for more chips.
"How we doing so far?" he asked.
Drew did a quick mental calculation. "I think we're over sixty grand. Want to quit?"
"Not on your life!"
The dealer dealt the next hand. Brian turned over his cards and then dropped them on the table as if they were too hot to touch.
"Blackjack!" Drew shouted, pleased.
The dealer muttered something under his breath as he began paying Brian. Brian leaned back in his chair and breathed out as if he had just taken a good, long drag from a joint. He was happy.
"I could get used to this business of winning," he said.
"Me too."
A cocktail waitress came walking by. "Drinks, anyone? Drinks."
"Hi, Beverly."
"Hi, Drew. Hi, Brian. My, my, it looks like you're doing well."
"I'll do even better with a rum and coke."
"I'll make a note of it. Anything for you, doll?"
"Yes. A coke without the rum," Drew said. "Did you just come on shift?"
"Yep."
"We'll have to get together for a party later."
"I'm in favor of that. Where and when?"
"I don't know yet. Pooky hasn't told us. Maybe Atlantic City. Maybe Monte Carlo. Maybe tonight. Maybe tomorrow."
"Well, you have my number."
She went off to get the drinks. Another hand was dealt. Another hand was won. As Brian raked in his winnings, the dealer stopped the game and called for more chips. The pit boss, more sour-faced than the dealer, delivered them very reluctantly.
Brian now had the luxury to think about other things. He glanced down at his watch. "What could be keeping those two so long?" he wondered out loud.
"Sex, most-likely."
No sooner had Drew spoken than Tony and Sally appeared on the horizon, arms wrapped around each other's waists. They saw the brother and sister at the blackjack table and immediately steered toward it.
"Are you putting that twenty grand I lent you to good use, Son?" Tony asked.
"Yes, Dad. I can repay you now if you like."
Tony waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. "Don't worry about it. Keep it. Twenty grand is small change to me. Consider it the child support I never paid your mother."
Sally kissed him on the lips. "Aw, you're such a sweetheart, Pooky. I can't wait to start making your babies. They'll be sweethearts too."
He returned her kiss with fervor. One hand slid up under her skirt to massage her pussy as he sucked on her lips. On that hand was a gold wedding ring, similar to Sally's but without the huge diamond. He and Sally had gotten hitched in Las Vegas two days ago, after he'd annulled his marriage to his own daughter. Drew didn't mind. She and Tony still fucked around when the mood hit them, just as Brian and Sally did. After all, it was all in the family!
Brian turned at the sound of shuffling cards. The chip tray had been replenished with black and orange chips. He noticed that he had a new dealer.
"Janet."
She tapped the name tag on her left breast. "Cindy," she corrected. "Janet works at the Yellow Rose, remember?"
"Oh. Sorry." Then he looked at her closely. "How does your ass feel?"
She smirked at him. "Lonely. It misses your cock."
Yes, Brian thought, that's Cindy, all right.
She dealt him two tens. He split them and received two aces. He won both hands.
"Seems like I can't lose today."
"Lucky you," Cindy said.
Drew saw the looks that passed between Cindy and Brian and felt a twinge of jealousy. She leaned in close and whispered in her brother's ear.
"Brian, I need you to fuck me. I need you to fuck me right now."
He stood up immediately and took his bet back. "Sorry, Cindy, but I have to go. Nature calls.
"Dad, sorry about our dinner plans. You will look after my chips, won't you?"
"Mmmmmm-hmmmm," Tony murmured, his mouth still attached to Sally's.
Hand in hand, Brian and Drew began to walk, then run, towards the elevators.
As siblings they were close. As lovers they were inseparable.
