Chapter 17
"I suppose that we had better take things easy for a while," Margie said to her attractive sister as they went about straightening up the living room.
It was ten o'clock Saturday morning and the two sisters had been up for about an hour. Wanda was still sleeping and they had awakened Chris and urged him to go upstairs to bed and rest some more.
"I'm afraid that you're right, Mari," Ruby answered. "We can leave ourselves open to more trouble than we would ever want if we expanded this circle too much and get the wrong person involved with us. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit hesitant about Jeanne. I'm afraid that her in-laws might apply pressure to her if they know how late it was that she got home last night. You know, protecting the honor of their son serving his country in some distant country. Maybe I'm just worrying too much though."
"Funny that you should mention that," Margie added. "The same thought was crossing my mind a little earlier this morning. Let's just back off for a while and give Jeanne all the leeway that she wants."
"Sounds like a great idea," Ruby said. "Let's finish up this mess and go out for a while."
The two women spent the next thirty minutes getting their living room and dining room back in tip-top shape. They vacuumed and dusted and even took some rug cleaner to the little puddle of come that Jeanne and Kerry had deposited last night. Just as they finished their work the telephone rang.
"Wonder who that is?" Ruby said aloud as she approached the phone.
"Hello," she said pleasantly as she picked up the receiver.
"Hello, Margie?" a female voice asked.
"No, this is Ruby. May I help you?"
"Oh, hi, Ruby, this is Florence," the woman said. "I just wanted to call to thank you and your sister for last night. I don't know when I've ever enjoyed myself so much. Thanks a lot."
"The pleasure was all ours," Ruby replied. "I hope that we can get together again soon."
"I hope so, too," Florence said. "Well, I won't keep you. I just wanted to thank you again. See you soon. Bye."
"Thanks for calling," Ruby said. "We'll be looking forward to our next visit."
"I think we made a good friend," Ruby said to Margie as she hung up the phone.
"I was thinking the same thing after I saw the way that she ravaged Kerry last night," Margie said with a smile.
No sooner had the two women sat down than the phone rang again. This time it was Beverly. She, too, wanted them to know that she was very pleased at the way the party turned out and that she would like to have another go at Kerry one of these days soon. Ruby and Margie both took a turn at talking with the beautiful teacher and told her that they were very pleased to have had her as their guest. Beverly then asked if Chris was around and then laughed when she was told that he was still sleeping.
"Guess we were a bit too much for him last night," she said.
"Not we--you," Ruby said with amusement. "Later on, after all of you left last night, Wanda told us that she and Jeanne looked in on the two of you when you were in Margie's bed and they were afraid that you were going to fuck your way through the mattress."
"Those little devils," Beverly said with a laugh. "I didn't know that they were watching us. Hope they enjoyed the show."
"I'm sure that they did," Ruby answered. "I know that Chris is a horny little bastard but you sure are his favorite. I'm kinda' put out about it, too, for I was his favorite until you came along."
"He is one great fuck, Ruby," Beverly said, "and you and Margie have him there every night if you want him so don't envy me."
"Okay. You win," Ruby told the young teacher.
"Well, I just wanted to say thanks. I'll call you next week," Beverly concluded.
"Okay, dear. Talk to you later. Bye," Ruby said as she hung up the phone.
Ruby returned to her seat and replayed her conversation with Beverly to her younger sister.
The two women settled down to some relaxing reading. It wouldn't be long before Wanda and Chris woke up and would have to be fed. Until that time they wanted a few minutes of peace and quiet. Both of them began thumbing through magazines and shutting out the rest of the world. Their peace was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Shit," Ruby said, "I guess we won't get any rest today. If it isn't the phone it's the door. Wonder who the hell that can be?"
"You relax, I'll get it," Margie said as she got up from her chair and made her way toward the door.
Margie was surprised to see a vital, lovely Jeanne when she opened the door.
"My heavens, I didn't expect to see you so soon, dear," Margie said. "Come on in."
Jeanne hopped into the room and accompanied Margie into the living room.
"Look who's here, Ruby," the woman said addressing her older sister.
"Well, I'll be damned," Ruby said. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, really there are two reasons," Jeanne began. "I came right over before work to let you know that my in-laws were sound asleep when I got home last night and didn't even ask me this morning what time I returned. The second reason is that all morning I was thinking about that fantastic affair last night and I've gotten myself all worked up. Is Chris still here?"
Margie and Ruby laughed out loud.
"He's in bed," Margie said when she settled down. "Go right up and put that sweet thing next to his nose. Believe me, he'll wake up in a hurry.
Jeanne headed for the stairs and Ruby and Margie returned to their comfortable seats. The two sisters looked at each other for the longest time then burst out laughing.
