Chapter 10

Cindy picked at a fleck of lint on the front of her navy-blue jumper, catching it between her fingertips, then holding it up and letting it float away on the soft breeze.

No, she decided, things could hardly return to what they had been.

True to his word-something Cindy would have never believed before-the headmaster, Abram, had telephoned her parents at their vacation home and asked if a mistake had been made. After several minutes of confusion followed by a number of apologies, all three of them had agreed that the unfortunate had occurred.

"Unfortunate," Cindy laughed aloud, her voice tinged with irony.

Shaking her head from side to side, she glanced at her surroundings. Beautiful country, she decided wistfully.

Her parents had offered to forego their vacation and return to move her over to the proper school. With jet connections, they could be there late that evening and not even another night would pass before she would be completely free. Already they had returned her clothes to Cindy, and her bag was sitting still packed in a new room with taffeta drapes.

But she had surprised them all-her parents and Abram-by suggesting that she remain there for two more weeks before making up her mind.

She sighed and glanced back at the mansion. She was sure that she knew what she would say even then.

Walking back toward the stone fortress, she worked at the buttons of the dress and it tumbled to the ground somewhere along the way.

By the time she reached the door, she was completely naked, ready for the thin cotton gown that could be easily slipped off. Shivers of expectation ran up and down her spine, before settling in to tingle her clit.

Maybe she would even give Serena a rematch for the championship. She giggled. Perhaps even two falls out of three.
