Chapter 8

Sharon continued in the following years, to have sex with Steinburg and Craven. She had no choice in the matter. If she refused to obey their depraved commands, they would blackball her from the movie business. "Submit to us, or you will never work in films again," they had told her. That was no idle threat. Steinburg and Craven were very powerful men. They were feared and respected in the film industry. So she did what she was told. Whenever they wanted to use her, they did so.

They raped her cunt, her asshole and her mouth. They tied her up and beat her with whips. They slapped her around. But their beating never left marks, so she accepted their brutal treatment-not willingly, but she accepted it nonetheless. People were strange, she told herself in an attempt to I rationalize their bizarre behavior. Besides, she needed Steinburg and Craven. Without them, she would never become a Hollywood Superstar.

They were a great help. They featured her in almost every Century Studio production, and, as the years went by, under Steinburg's expert direction, she became an accomplished actress.

She became a very popular actress. She gained a mass following. And she began to get more leading roles. Millions of people went to see her movies for the sole reason that she, Miss Sharon Stingly, played the starring role. Every year, she renegotiated her contract until she was making a million dollars for a single movie. Her contract even stipulated that she had to be consulted regarding the supporting actresses who appeared in her films. She refused to be upstaged by young new actresses.

What is more, after that dreadful night at Avery Craven's cast party, she vowed never to be in a film with the wicked Miss Lola Fontaine. She despised the evil bitch, and she told Steinburg and Craven that, if they ever cast her in a Lola Fontaine film, she would quite. They respected her wishes, and when Sharon became a leading box-office attraction, they even released Miss Fontaine from her Century Studio contract.

Miss Fontaine was quite upset by the turn of events. She signed a contract to work for Universe Studio. After that, her career took a drastic turn for the worse. She began to drink heavily. She became addicted to sleeping pills. Twice, she attempted to commit suicide by taking an overdose of Seconal. She aged quickly and lost her beauty. She looked worn and haggard, and often appeared on the set drunk or drugged. Finally, no producer or director would hire her. The once-famous Hollywood Superstar was reduced to doing television commercials.

This was the biggest, most important night in Sharon Stingly's life. She sat in the huge theatre and listened to the Academy Award presentations. Her heart was beating fast, and her cunt tingled with anxious anticipation as she waited to hear who would win the Academy Award for the "Best Actress" of 1979. The competition was stiff. Five actresses were nominated: Jane Fonda, Liv Ullman, Lauren Hutton, Diane Keaton and Sharon Stingly.

On Sharon's right sat Harry Steinburg and Avery Craven. On her left sat Brian White. Brian held her trembling hand. Occasionally, he would lift her hand and kiss her ring finger. Lovingly, he kissed the finger on which she wore a beautiful diamond wedding ring. He had given it to her earlier in the evening, when he had proposed and she had accepted. They were to be married in a week. Sharon was absolutely ecstatic. She was engaged to marry the man of her dreams.

As Cary Grant and Elizabeth Taylor prepared to name the "Best Actress" of 1979, Sharon's heart pulsed and her pussy seeped cunt-juice. Her clit tingled with excitement.

"And the winner of the Academy Award for 'Best Actress' is . . . Sharon Stingly!" Cary Grant said exuberantly.

Tears filled Sharon's eyes. She kissed Brian White, then she stood and, on her way down the aisle, she kissed Harry Steinburg and Avery Craven.

She made her way to the stage. Thunderous applause filled her ears. She had made it to the top!

Cary Grant handed her the coveted Oscar and kissed her on the cheek. She stepped to the podium, regained her composure and said, "This is the happiest moment of my life. But it would never have been possible without the help of my producer, Avery Craven, my director, Harry Steinburg, and my fiancee, Brian White. Thank you all very much." She blew a kiss to the theatre audience and smiled into the television cameras which moved in to get close-up shots of her face. She thrilled at the thought that millions of people throughout the world were watching her on television. She was rich and famous. An Academy Award winner! A Superstar!

When the Academy Award presentations were over, Sharon, Brian, Harry and Avery drove straight to Avery Craven's Beverly Hills mansion. They had been invited to numerous parties, but they decided that it would be more fun to celebrate privately. All three men were extremely proud of Sharon, and they did not wish to share her with anyone on this glorious evening.

Besides, they had a surprise for Sharon. A surprise which only Sharon and the three men would appreciate and enjoy and understand.

They sat around drinking champagne and eating caviar, and admiring Sharon's Oscar. Sharon beamed with joy.

"I've finally made it!" she enthused. "I made it to the top! I always dreamed of winning an Academy Award, but I never really thought that it would come true. I just can't thank you enough. Harry taught me everything I know. And Avery backed every one of my pictures. And Brian! Well, what can I say? Brian taught me the meaning of love. And, we're engaged to be married. Life is so wonderful. Sometimes, I wonder if this is really happening. I'm so happy!"

"A toast to Sharon's success and happiness," said Steinburg as he raised his Champagne glass.

"And to her fame and fortune," added Craven.

"And to our upcoming marriage," said Brian White.

They drained their glasses and laughed heartily.

"Well, I guess you now have everything you want, Sharon," said Steinburg.

Sharon smiled and replied, "Well, almost everything. But I guess a person can't really have everything." She pouted and a look of intense dissatisfaction appeared on her beautiful face.

"What is it, darlin'? " Brian asked. "What more do you want?"

"Revenge!" she snapped. "Revenge is what I want!" She spoke loudly and sharply. "I want revenge!"

"Against whom?" Brian asked patiently.

"Against that evil bitch, Lola Fontaine. She abused me! She humiliated me! She degraded me! If only I could get back at her for the awful things she did to me, I would be totally fulfilled. I would be the happiest woman in the entire world."

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"Who could that be?" asked Sharon. "I thought this was a private party. Did you invite anyone else?" she asked Avery Craven.

"Yes, my dear," Craven replied in a cool voice. He grinned and laughed aloud. Brian and Harry joined him in his jovial laughter.

"Well," Sharon said impatiently. "Who the hell is it? What's so goddamned funny?" she snapped.

"It's our little surprise for you, Sharon darling," said Harry Steinburg. "We wanted you to be completely happy on this very special day, so we invited a special guest just for you."

"Who is it?" Sharon asked.

At that very moment, in walked Lola Fontaine. The once-famous actress was completely naked! She looked tired, worn and old. Defeated and beaten down by the trials of her life.

Sharon sat upright in her chair. She crossed her lovely legs and assumed a haughty demeanor. She realized at once that this surprise had all been planned for her pleasure. She would get her revenge after all.

Lola Fontaine stepped forward. Tears streamed down her wrinkled face as she stood before the voluptuous superstar, Miss Sharon Stingly.

"Well, what do you have to say to me?" Sharon snapped. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

"I-I came to beg your forgiveness," Lola replied. "And to ask for your help."

"What kind of help?"

"I'd like to be in your next picture," Lola answered. "My career is ruined. I became an alcoholic and a drug addict. I even tried to take my own life. Life is meaningless to me unless I am working as an actress. I can't even do commercials any more. I've been blackballed from the acting business."

"We warned you, Lola," Steinburg interjected. "Avery and I do have quite a bit of influence in the industry, you know."

Sharon smiled widely and broke out laughing.

"Please, I beg of you," Lola Fontaine continued. "Please, use me in your next film. I'll do anything-for a part in your next movie. I beg of you!"

"Well," Sharon replied, "If you really want a part, I think it would be a wise gesture for you to get down on your knees. I don't like looking up at people. I'm much more comfortable looking down at people," Sharon hissed.

Lola Fontaine knelt at Sharon's feet.

Sharon smiled and licked her lips. Her moment for revenge had come. But when the tables had turned, Sharon realized that she would be as generous to Lola as Lola had been small and petty with her. True revenge would have to take the form of kindness, in this case.

Sharon had experienced a great deal in life. And she had learned that she would never turn into another Lola Fontaine.
