Foreword
Sex has finally come out into the open. Television, radio and magazines sell their products with it. The bookstore shelves are laden with volumes on how to do it, when to do it, and what to do if you're not doing it. The nation is aware of sex, and talking about it.
The next step in this more overt exposure to sex was bound to be experimentation. It has become acceptable to think of sex as something healthy and positive. Experts tell their readers their most obscene thoughts are perfectly normal. It's okay . . .it's healthy to masturbate. If you like to do it in groups, that's all right too, they say. There are few people who do not derive some stimulation from the idea of attending an orgy. Until the last few years though, far fewer people had ever done anything about their group-sex fantasies.
Still, no matter how much validation one has, swapping mates with the next-door neighbors is a trying emotional experience. The very fabric of our sense of security slips right out from beneath us.
HOT SWAPPING CAMPERS - a novel designed for entertainment. Yet also a thought-provoking look at contemporary society.
