Foreword
Life is filled with periods of transition, and it all starts at birth, when a baby is yanked from the warmth and safety of the womb. No less traumatic for most children is the transition from the sometimes frightening school environment. And then comes the time when one must decide -- often involuntarily -- what to do with one's life.
Transition all of us must make. Indeed, life itself seems to be a never-ending string of transitions.
In this frank novel, a woman is faced with changes, which greatly affect her personal life as well as her relationship with her brother and his wife.
Mona has become her brother's lover because of a series of misfortunate circumstances; and though she strives to lead a normal life, outside forces exist over which she has little control.
Society may condemn her actions, but is she really guilty?
SISTER IN THE MIDDLE -- a work of fiction, yes, but a story with a message for all.
