Foreword
When a beautiful young girl is placed in a juvenile prison many problems can develop if those in charge of the prison are not of good character and high, ethical standards.
Many stories have come to light about certain juvenile facilities where the standards have been so low that the facilities have not been kept clean. There are numerous accounts of these prisons being overcrowded, with many people sleeping in cramped quarters on mattresses on the floor.
There are also accounts of youth becoming involved in fights in such facilities. Stabbings with forks and knives have taken place. And this is why it has become increasingly apparent that something must be done to give the young offender a decent place away from society.
There are also tragic accounts of sexual entanglements taking place behind prison bars. Such terrifying episodes are sometimes told in all their lurid ugliness when cases go to court.
Therefore, it is vital for society to consider all of the ramifications of the people who man these institutions, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the overcrowded complications that can result when not enough time, attention, and funding is supplied for such places.
There is no reason to believe these situations will better themselves automatically. Change will only come about through concerted action of concerned citizens who will not permit such an ugly spectacle as many juvenile facilities have become, to continue.
Our story is an account of a young and troubled girl who winds up in jail. Little does she dream of the depravity she will discover behind juvenile prison walls. Unfortunately, her parents have been uncaring and unsympathetic to her plight, and this has only magnified her problem to the point where she is willing to throw away her moral values in exchange for small prison favors.
