Chapter 11

From the moment that Eileen James had been assigned to work under Terry, she felt a certain measure of interest and intrigue.

A saucy, brown-haired young girl of nineteen with a stunning figure, Eileen was in her second year of college. She was undecided at that point as to whether she wanted to become a registered nurse like Terry, or possibly pursue a career in medicine as an M D.

At any rate, young Eileen who spoke with a slight Texas drawl, having been raised in a small town in the Texas panhandle, was eager to find out all she could about her assistant's work through Terry.

The young girl actually looked up to Terry with reverence, which flattered the nurse all the more.

As for what she did with her time away from the job, the lovely brown-haired girl had a number of boyfriends, and liked to talk to Terry about some of her experiences.

Terry found it a bit strange that she enjoyed listening to the stories to the extent that she did. Generally, whenever one of her fellow nurses would tell her about an experience with a man, she would react with boredom. But things were a lot different with this beautiful girl. There was something about her, a certain dynamism that couldn't help but excite Terry.

One evening when Terry was off, she went to see a motion picture that contained some explicit lesbian lovemakmg scenes. She hadn't known what the picture was going to be about until she actually saw the scenes unfold in the film. When she saw the explicit scenes, however, she did not react with either disgust or boredom, such as she would have anticipated would have happened. Instead she began to think about her lovely nurse's assistant. It made her wonder if maybe she had a yen for gorgeous Eileen. At any rate she knew there was a certain fascination there.

The next evening at work, she began to eye Eileen's body even more curiously than before. She observed her trim buttocks and lovely legs, along with her firm breasts. Terry kept wondering how enticing it would be to her to observe this effervescent young woman completely nude.

It wasn't until several evenings later that she finally decided on making a move. When action slowed down for the evenings, she looked at Eileen and exclaimed:

"When is your next night off?"

"I have Tuesday off this week."

"Since you've been such a nice assistant, and since you've done such a good job for me, I'd like to take you out to dinner and a movie. How about it?"

"Well, I did have a date" Eileen said slowly.

"I don't want to influence you, but I would like to make you very happy, Eileen. I'd like to show my appreciation. It would be good if you could break it, provided it wouldn't be too much trouble."

"Come to think of it, Stan has been taking me for granted anyway lately," she laughed. "Maybe breaking the date would be just the thing that would teach him a little bit of a lesson."

"Certainly. You can't let these men get away with anything. You give them an inch and they'll take two miles."

"Yeah, and I guess that's particularly true of Stan. I think it probably would be a good idea to break the date. Not only that, but I'm sure I'd have a good time with you."

"You'll have a wonderful time. So how about it, my dear?"

"Yeah, I'll do it."

"That's fine."

It wasn't until she had made her overture that Terry remembered that she was supposed to work that same evening. Her nights off weren't necessarily coinciding with those of Eileen. In this particular instance she would otherwise be off on Thursday night. It demonstrated to her once more just how big an impression Eileen appeared to be making.

Eileen left an hour later. At that point Terry decided to go see the night administrator, Mrs. Goldman. Perhaps Mrs. Goldman could switch her night off for her.

Terry spoke in her most persuasive manner as she talked to Mrs. Goldman. She stressed that she had to go see a sick aunt out of town that day, and that it would be next to impossible for her to get back. She explained how much more convenient it would be if she could have another evening off.

"Considering the emergency nature of the circumstances, I suppose I could let you have Tuesday off, my dear," Mrs. Goldman said in a kindly tone.

"I really appreciate it."

"Think nothing of it. You've done very well by us here at the hospital. You've been a good nurse."

"Thank you. I appreciate that as well."

When Terry left the hospital in the wee hours of the morning, her mind was focused on Eileen. She was thinking about her now more than she was any of the handsome young interns at the hospital.

It still wasn't completely clear to Terry what was happening to her. Perhaps it was no more than admiration for Eileen, such as that which could be expected from an older sister toward a younger one.

But the more she thought about it the more she couldn't help but think that the admiration probably extended beyond that of the sisterly variety.
