Chapter 3
The idea of being a prisoner at any time didn't go over too well with Susan. Her husband had held her virtual prisoner for five years before she had mustered the courage to divorce him. Her only solace was, that in spite of his continual fucking of her, the man had never impregnated her. She never did know whether it was his fault or her own. At the moment she was hoping the blame lay with her, because she knew Tom wasn't going to settle for merely shtooping her with a finger every time. The last thing she needed was a permanent souvenir of this encounter. Knowing Tom as she did, and she knew him very well, she was certain the man was going to use her again and again.
They had gotten out of the car, and she was surprised to see him lug two suitcases from the trunk of the car, inside. It was a nice-enough little cabin, and she noticed electric wiring came from somewhere so that the cabin not only had electric lighting and refrigeration and air-conditioning, but there were also electric heaters all over the place so that the cabin was something one might use year-round.
It had a pleasant-enough atmosphere inside, with a huge main room that doubled as living room/dining room/kitchen. The floor was covered with throw rugs, and to the right, as one entered, beneath thermal pane windows, she saw three long sofas running the width of the bungalow-cabin. To the right at the far end was the sink. To the left of the sink, under the north window, was the stove, an electric stove. To the left of the stove was the refrigerator. The dining area was to the left of that.
All the way to the left were three doors. They were open, and Susan saw the middle door led to a bathroom, while the other two were bedrooms. She hoped she might be able to at least sleep by herself, but even as she thought about it, she knew it was a forlorn hope. The beds in each of the bedrooms were king-sized, and big enough to hold four people each, if necessary.
"This is for you," he told her, putting down the small suitcase. "I pretty much know your size, what with all the clothing I've bought for you over the past six months. You'll notice there's a washer and dryer in the far left corner of the room, in the small alcove. I've bought you two more skirt-suits, both wash-and-wear, like the one you have on now. In addition, you have a week's supply of undies, and even a bikini if you should wish to go swimming in the lake beneath the cabin. There are no foundation garments other than bikini brassieres and skimpy panties. If you want to keep your muscles firmed and toned, you'll have to exercise a little more."
"A little exercise wouldn't hurt you," Susan observed.
"Oh, I intend exercising," he assured her. "I intend exercising quite a bit-with you. I'll be doing push-ups with you under me, and sit-ups with you sitting on top of me. Together we'll be traveling a hundred miles an hour, yet we'll hardly go anywhere at all."
"You're a shameful man," she insisted.
"Susan, use that mouth to say other things, or I'll put it to an even better purpose," he told her. "I know you can see well enough without your glasses so you won't trip over the furniture, and you can cook. I'll expect you to do all the cooking, cleaning, and washing for as long as you're here."
"How long will that be?" she asked.
"As long as I wish it," he snapped. "I didn't take my vacation this past summer because of you, staying at that office during the summer heat to keep an eye on those dogs you insisted on buying, watching them go down consistently. Well, I've told the firm I'll be away for at least three weeks. I have other men covering my clientele for me. Meanwhile, I intend devoting my entire attention to my favorite customer. You've become an investment, Susan. It's time for that investment to pay off. Just before, you received the first dividend. After dinner, I'll get my dividend, and if you behave properly, you'll probably have another one, yourself."
"Very funny," she snapped.
"Not funny, factual. You'll find the refrigerator filled with food, and outside, in back, you'll find a freezer stocked with all kinds of frozen meats and vegetables. I expect you to make certain neither of us goes hungry. We have enough food to last us three weeks."
"What happens after that?" she asked.
"After that, why, I suppose the smart thing is to wait the three weeks and see. For now, get supper ready."
Surprisingly enough, in spite of all she had been through, she had a healthy appetite, and she ate. After dinner, she took her time washing the dishes, while Tom sat and watched a news show on TV.
When she had finished washing the dishes, she sat on a couch near his, refusing to sit next to the man, and they watched more TV. In fact, she was surprised he made no move until ten o'clock. Then he said, "I'm going to take a shower. When I come out, you can take over the bathroom. We'll be using the larger bedroom."
