Chapter 7

An hour later, all three girls were forced to sit and watch as Jose "broke in" the fourth girl, a girl who hadn't been a virgin to begin with, and one who seemingly understood, as the second girl had understood, that she had no choice but to obey. Then they broke for supper, a meal of ground corn, frijoles, spicy meat, and lots of cool sangria.

After dinner, at about nine o'clock, the four women returned to the large bedroom, where the two brothers took their pleasure with the last two girls, both of whom had been awake in the stinking dungeon for some hours now, and were only too happy to do anything to get out of there.

That night, Eduardo once again took charge, saying, "You girls will sleep in the barracks that have been provided for you. You will not be chained or bound in any way, but do not try to escape. You will find it is futile."

But both, Nella and Olivia were determined to get away. Neither of them had any desire to be any man's slave. They joined the other four girls in the room with the beds, and they lay down on clean sheets, realizing the Blass Brothers thought of them as valuable commodities, and treated them as such. They would continue being treated like harem girls, enjoying luxury, but at the price of fucking and sucking their masters until the two men felt all of them proficient enough to be sold.

While Jose had gone out, and Eduardo had been talking with the last two girls, Nella had taken the opportunity to examine the desk where Jose had put away the gun. It might be a good idea to take the gun with her when she tried making her escape from here. But while looking through the desk, she came on a book of records, and in it were listed the names of the various buyers with whom Eduardo had been dealing during the past year. There was also a list of potential buyers, and now, next to the name of one Don Julio Alvarez, Argentina, Eduardo had marked Nella's name. Although the sale of Nella to the Don was not yet a certainty, this was the man who would get the initial opportunity to purchase her. At least it was better than some of the other men listed; men who lived in tiny villages in Central and South America, all of whom either owned or operated mines, none of whom had any women. Nella was able to envision these towns and villages, each with a hundred thousand flies and mosquitoes for every human being and animal-hot, dry, dusty, smelly, and extremely uncomfortable.

Nella also noted four of the other girls had their names marked beside some of these mine owners, but she also noticed Olivia's name was conspicuously missing. She wondered just why that was.

Returning to the other room where the girls were being lectured by Eduardo, she unnoticeably slipped into the bed that had been earmarked for her. She was thinking.

Unlike Olivia, Nella, who had been fascinated a bit by Jose, hadn't noticed that the man was also fascinated by her. If she had, her desire to escape would have been tempered.

Jose Blass was completely fascinated by the golden-haired girl as he had never before been in his life. It was the beginning of love, though Jose didn't realize it yet. Jose had no thought for profit where Nella was concerned. Eduardo, on the other hand, had allowed himself to become enamored of Olivia because Olivia, with her chestnut hair, looked like only too common a commodity to the undiscerning, and Eduardo was fully aware of the fact that Olivia would not bring that good a price. What a shameless waste of female flesh that would be, for she had shown herself to be as responsive a woman as Nella and Nella was one of the most responsive women Eduardo had ever fucked-and she was exceedingly beautiful, even if her body was slightly undersized when compared to Nella and the other four women. After all, in spite of an occasional French lay, a woman didn't really fuck with her breasts. No, it was the conio that mattered most of all. Olivia had an extremely receptive cunt, and now that Jose had used his gun barrel to remove her maidenhead, the girl would never be able to blame Eduardo for deflowering her. But Eduardo was already pragmatically entranced by the girl and determined she would eventually become his mistress and bear him children to whom he would be able to leave part of this business when the time came.

By the same token, Jose was dreaming of Nella, deciding she had to become his, no matter what Eduardo wanted. Though he had not seen his brother take the flower from within the golden-haired girl, he knew just by looking at her that she was what he wanted. From now on, no one other than Jose would minister to Nella.

Though Olivia knew Jose was entranced with her, she was still determined to escape from here. She didn't relish the idea of being any man's chattel, even if the man was in love with her and eventually willing to provide her with luxury and a wonderful life. Olivia cherished her freedom most of all.

She lay on the cot with its firm mattress and stared at the ceiling as Eduardo put out the light, thinking she had to somehow or other make good her escape. The idea of escape had her too overwrought to fall asleep.
