Foreword
There are some persons who actually "enjoy" pain. When this type of person wants to "turn-on", they must search for someone who will participate in their strange sexual hang-up. It often is not easy.
That being the case, when a prisoner of pain finds a "sadist" (someone who enjoys administering pain), they cling to them for dear life.
Why is it that some people have this bizarre sex twist? The reasons are deeply imbedded in the psyche, and go back to the roots of childhood.
Often times it can happen when punishment is administered to a child. Strange as it may seem, the sexual feelings can be so strong in some youth that a "whipping", can provide a type of pain, and a kind of pleasure at the same time.
Soon, the "whipping syndrome" is established in the sexual framework of the person, and they actually want to be whipped. Having discovered one kind of "pleasure-pain", they are eager to move on to bigger, and better things. This tragedy is compounded when they have noone to help them out of this "pit". And pit it is, for they often sink deeper, ever deeper into this kind of sexual quicksand. All the time there is the awareness that they sould do a turnaround, and change. But the tug of the emotions is so great, a change is difficult to make.
That is why it becomes increasingly difficult for the person who is such a tormented prisoner to ever break free. For they are imprisoned within the framework of their own warped psyche, and must desire to break free. But, often as not, they simply want more of the same-"pain", accompanied by "pleasure."
