Chapter 17
Roger's revenge was now complete. What was more, except for the expense of the party, and what he would be paying Gaby, it had cost him relatively little.
The morning after the orgy, he had made certain all five women were doped up. Then he had told the other three men to leave since he didn't want them to know what was going to happen. If, for any reason, something went wrong, he didn't want any of them to be blamed.
The women were all dressed in neat skirt suites, each in a different color. Andrea was in green, Shana was in pink, Rosalie was in brown, Dawn was in white, and Janice was in blue. Doped as they were, they were unable to do anything other than obey whatever Roger told them to do. During their stay, he had procured passports for all of them, and now he boarded a private plane with them, after having them cleared, and he had the pilot, who worked for one of Roger's wealthy friends, fly him to Greece.
In Greece, Roger brought the five women to the house of Stanos Novarros, one of the many friends who he'd met while working the previous summer, and he literally gave Andrea to the man, as a gift. He would keep her on his private island in the Aegean, where she would remain until he tired of her. Then he would have her shipped off to a brothel. But until that time, he would use her repeatedly because he was a lusty man. Being Greek, and steeped in Greek tradition, he would use Andrea any way he wished, and that meant the one way that Andrea hated.
The following morning, the private plane took off again, and this time went to Algeria. Here, he delivered Janice to the owner of a popular bordello, once again, as a gift.
From Algeria he went directly to Nairobi, and late that evening, Dawn was made the thirty-seventh wife of a tribal chieftain Roger had come to know well. His gift of Dawn to the man assured peaceful cooperation on the part of the tribe when his firm began building electrical plants and generators in the area.
That night, they flew to Spain and spent the balance of the night in the castillo of one Don Eduardo Salazar. Eduardo's wife, who no longer lived with him, occupied a town house in Madrid. Roger introduced Edward to Shana, and she realized she was hopelessly trapped here for the rest of her life, because the castillo was on top of a mountain, and the only way down was either by helicopter or cable car. She would not be able to use either without the Don's permission. What made it even worse was the fact that Don Eduardo was a charming man, and Shana knew that eventually he would conquer her heart as easily as he would possess her body that night.
Last, but certainly not least, was Rosalie. By now she knew he fully intended delivering her to Tijuana, but the drug in her system kept her helpless, and she wasn't capable of doing anything other than obeying him.
The following day, he brought her to Mexico, and as he had promised, gave her to a greasy pimp with half his teeth missing. The rest of his teeth were rotting, he was half-bald, had a smelly beard, was sweaty and smoked cheap cigars so that he stank from tobacco and tequila. He also had a habit of trying out every woman who worked for him, to make certain he didn't catch a dose of VD, since the women came to him clean.
Satisfied, Roger returned to Ohio. There was only one thing left to do.
Gabrielle was waiting for him when he got back. She was wearing a summery yellow dress when Roger, wearing a travel-stained pair of blue slacks and a yellow shirt, entered the house.
"All done?" Gaby asked.
"Just about," he nodded. "Now there's a little matter of you."
"Hey look, you don't have to say anything," she insisted. "I don't expect anything other than the money you promised me. I mean, I know what I am. I may not be proud of it, but I make a good living at it, and I even declare taxes."
"Well, at least spend the night with me, Gaby, I'll pay double the going rate," he told her.
"I owe you a free one," she insisted. , "Since when?"
"I told you, when I decided to go into this business, I went looking for you. I mean, I wanted to lose my virginity with someone I liked. I wasn't able to find you, and I eventually ended up selling that, too, Imagine! It got me ten extra dollars. But I wasn't going to sell it to you. I was going to give it to you. So you see, I still owe you a freebie."
They went upstairs and took a long shower together, and afterward took their time in bed. Gaby was either better than she thought, or Roger was more of man than even she had believed, because that night they didn't sleep at all, and she brought him to six separate culminations while having almost ten, herself.
The following morning, she was up before he was, and she went downstairs to make breakfast. When he came down, she had the food on the table.
"You're spoiling me," he told her. "You know I'll never be able to find another woman quite so solicitous of my needs in every way."
"Sure you will," Gaby insisted.
"But I don't want to," he told her. "I want you permanently."
"I'm a whore, Roger. You'd have to be crazy to want me."
"I know of at least five different women who'll testify that I'm insane," he smiled.
"Hate can make many of us temporarily insane," Gaby insisted. "I think you're just about back to sanity."
"You just told me I was crazy for wanting you. That's the kind of insanity I don't think I'll ever get over."
"But sooner or later you'll throw it up to me that I was a whore," she insisted. "I mean, we might have a fight...."
"Gaby, you might not have been exactly proud of the way you earned your living, but were you every sorry?" he asked.
"No!"
"Then do you really feel there's a stigma attached to being called a whore? Let's cut the bullshit! I'm nuts about you. I want to go on fucking you the rest of my life. I'm sorry, but at your rates I'd go broke in a couple of years and you'd be the rich one. Let's say, I'm marrying you for my money. Tell you what! I won't stop you. But as far as I'm concerned, you're all the woman I'll ever need from now on."
"Well, damn it, you're all the man I'll ever need," she admitted. "I just want you to be sure."
"I'm sure," he promised. "I'm sure."
