Foreword

Frigidity in a woman is associated with a woman who has a total or partial lack of sex drive. Since the application of this word has different meanings for different people, it becomes diluted when applied to sexual dysfunctioning or inadequacy.

The most common and important causes of orgasmic dysfunctioning are psychological, typically such emotional problems such as shame, guilt, or fear. Many women are indoctrinated from an early age, either directly or by implication, into a warped sexual attitude.

Such was the case of Martha Rowen, a young vivacious woman, who was married to a very suitable mate.

By her standards, they had a good sex life during the early stages of a marriage three months' old. However, she was reluctant to indulge in sexual experimentation to enhance their sex life. Martha was repulsed by oral intercourse and any other innovation other than the standard method.

One of the methods in teaching a person to swim is to throw the individual into a pool. The sink or swim method! This method is not recommended because of the adverse effects. Although a number of people have learned to swim with this method!

Robert Rowen, Martha's husband, employed this method to teach his wife the pleasures of sexual variations. He contrived to have his wife placed into a situation that would force her into learning about various sex acts.

Ultimately, her attitude changed and she found pleasure in performing these sex acts. In turn, the result added to the improvement of her marital life.

While this is not an endorsement of employing such a drastic method to ameliorate a similar marital problem, it does depict what happened to one married couple. It is fortunate that it resulted in a happy ending.
