Curt McCrea was becoming increasingly more frustrated in the introspective, bookish world in which he almost exclusively resided.
The conscientious twenty-three-year-old was a dedicated law student beset by the pressures of following the distinguished tradition set forth by his prominent lawyer father Curt McCrea Senior, who was urging his son onward to do his level best so that he might later earn a place in his father's prestigious law firm.
When Curt Junior comes home from the Virginia law school he attends for a semester end vacation break, the frustrations that have been dwelling within him and ever so quietly but unmistakably growing inside him, surface more conspicuously than before. Young Curt craves to experience life in the real world and identify with something other than his law books, classroom endeavors and the inside of libraries.
The most crying need of all that craves expression by Curt is that of sex. He longs to let himself go, but yet there is a fear within him to adopt the kind of daring procedure he dreams of since he has been out of touch for so long with anything "other than the academic world.
Eventually Curt McCrea reaches what at least in part would have to be termed a breaking point. Despite the fears and inhibitions that impede him from venturing forward in the kind of boldly aggressive manner in which he would like to proceed, he finds that his fears leave him and he can become assertive and dominant when he resorts to spanking. There is something both exciting and momentous about the act of reaching out and spanking the shapely, well-rounded buttocks of a beautiful young woman that brings the daring beast out of him unlike anything else he had previously experienced in his life.
Once that Curt resorts to spanking he succeeds in breaking down the inhibitions of the women on the receiving end of his painful assaults. He becomes truly dominant and enjoys his new station enormously.
The stark realism of this novel depicts what happens when a young man torn by frustration and sexual deprivation turns into a raging sensual lion with the enactment of one fetishist act.
