This is second wonderful work from the pen of Mr. Charles SackvHle. and continues the story of the amusing exploits of Mr. Howard in fields of voluptuous delight seldom explored by ordinary men. Mr. Howard finds his pleasure in devoting his ample fortune to securing as his complete prisoners beautiful and virtuous young ladies, and then with utmost deliberation he subjects them to every form of humiliation his fecund imagination can invent or suggest. They are forced to uncover their beautiful white limbs gradually before him, they are carefully fixed and strapped in all manner of indecent attitudes and contorsions; they are compelled to perform the most lewd and lubri-cious acts to enhance his physical delight. They are whipped with all manner of instruments of chastisement with the utmost severity, and are finally ravished while bound firmly in some provocative attitude.
The scenes are described is so convincing a manner that it is impossible not to believe that the writer has indeed participated in them. Mr. Sackville being a scholar and a gentleman with a rare delicacy of style, his exquisite books are meant for persons of refinement of both sexes, and no word that could offend the most delicate female ear finds a place in his work.,
It seems impossible to believe that anything more delicately lascivious than this volume can
be conceived, but Mr. Sackville alone can surpass himself, and he promises to do this in the next volume upon which he is now at work.
