Foreword

In today's society, the agonies of rape go beyond the fact of a woman's violent ravagement. In many rape cases, there is as much mental anguish for the victim who seeks justice as there is physical suffering-the humiliation of a sordid police investigation, cold-hearted medical observations, and harsh legal procedures have made today's rape victim feel more ashamed than if she had chosen to remain silent.

TWO RAPED WIVES is the story of Jennifer Wales and Rena Cole, women violently defiled by an escaped convict. Fearful for their lives, they submit to their tormentor's every whim, and are dragged into a whirlpool of shame and degradation from which there seems no escape.

TWO RAPED WIVES-a novel mirroring some of the problems and struggles in America today.
