Chapter 12
IT WAS JUST BEFORE DAWN THAT TONY found a motel. They spotted the sign simultaneously, and a feeling of excitement and anticipation filled the car immediately. It wasn't as if it would be the first time for them together; but each of them knew that this would be the starting point, the turning of the sod of something they both wanted very deeply.
A sense of understanding and deep friendship had developed between them during the short time they had known each other; and although neither of them had been able to put the feeling into words, they shared it in inner understanding.
Both of them were sexually aroused, and Tony had to sit in the car for a few minutes to wait for his stiff cock to settle down before he could go inside and register. To Scott it seemed like it took him hours; but within a few minutes they were standing side by side inside the compact, but well-furnished room.
Scott turned to Tony self-consciously. "Look, I'd like to take a shower ... how about you?" Tony grinned and snapped the lock shut on the door. "You're acting like a nervous newlywed." Scott laughed, and the laughter helped to relieve his uneasiness.
"That's exactly how I feel." Tony nodded.
"I'll let you in on a little secret-me, too!"
They laughed together, and then Tony tossed his suitcase to one side.
"You go ahead and grab a shower; I'll have one when you're finished."
Scott looked down at the massive bulge in the front of Tony's tight slacks, and he felt the fire in his loins begin to burn brighter. He nodded.
"Okay ... I won't be long."
The second time the knock was louder, and it shattered Mel's sleep. He sat up on the couch and strained his ears, letting his eyes move around the dark room. The knock came again, and he got up and reached for his pants. He slipped them on and walked over to the door. The look of surprise on his face when he opened the door must have been obvious to the big cop that stood in the doorway.
"Sorry to wake you up, Mr. Russell, but I can't seem to find anybody else around. Maybe you could help me.
Mel brushed his hand through his hair and stepped back, flicking the light on as he moved. "C'mon in."
He closed the door behind the cop and waited for him to speak.
"I'm trying to find a Mrs. Fisher and a Mr. Collins.
They were supposed to be staying at the other two cabins, but both of them are empty."
Mel didn't try to hide his surprise.
"Empty?"
The cop nodded, and Mel waved him into a chair. "What's it all about?"
The big patrolman hesitated for a second; then he looked over at Mel.
"There's been an accident ... car went into the lake."
Mel stopped in the process of lighting his cigarette. He shook the match out and shook his head. "Oh, no! Was anybody hurt?" The cop nodded.
"I'm afraid so. The Fisher fellow and Collins' wife were in the car ... they didn't have a chance."
Mel dropped into the chair and shook his head.
"Jesus ... look, I don't know where Collins is, but Mrs. Fisher is in the next room."
Mel saw the look on the cop's face, and he didn't like it one bit.
"It's not what you're thinking. She had a little too much to drink, so I let her stay here rather than trying to make it home in the dark."
The expression on the cop's face didn't change, but Mel ignored it and stood up.
"I'll get her for you."
He didn't wait for an answer. As much as he dreaded what he had to do, he was the one to do it. He opened the bedroom door and closed it behind him as he flicked the light on.
Penny was sitting up in bed, staring blankly at him.
"I heard him ... oh Mel, did I have something to do with this? How can I ever face myself...."
Mel moved over to the bed and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her lightly on the forehead and then stood up.
"I don't want to hear any more of that. You had nothing to do with it. You'd better come on out there."
Penny looked at the sheet she was clutching to her breasts.
"I've got nothing to put on."
Mel nodded.
"Okay, I'll bring him in here."
He returned in a few seconds with the burly highway patrolman.
"Mrs. Fisher?" Penny nodded.
"Mr. Russell already told me."
The big cop nodded, obviously relieved at not having to be the one who gave her the bad news.
"There's no hurry, but I'd appreciate it if you dropped by our office tomorrow. Down the main highway about fifteen miles."
Penny nodded, and the cop turned and left the bedroom. Mel followed him to the door and opened it for him. The cop turned to him and smiled.
"Thanks ... I was beginning to wonder if I would spend all year up here. I've got an address on Collins, and there's no other next-of-kin, so that one will look after itself."
Mel nodded and watched the cop walk back to the cruiser; then he closed the door and went back to the bedroom. Penny had slipped into the shirt; and she met him at the doorway, falling into his arms.
"Oh Mel ... why, now? When everything was finally going to be all right. I've wished him dead so many times, but not now. I wanted to break with him-a clean break."
Mel held her at arm's length.
"You couldn't get a much cleaner break, honey."
Penny raised her eyes to meet his. "Don't you understand, Mel? I couldn't start like this."
Mel shook her gently.
"Listen to me ... Ron lived the way he wanted, and he died the same way. He didn't give a damn about you when he was alive; and you can be sure he wasn't thinking about you when he died. This has just made it that much easier for us. I don't have to worry about him any more."
Penny could see the wisdom in what he was saying, and her face softened. She wrapped her arms around him, and this time he didn't push her away. She felt the pressure of his cock as it grew against her; and she ground her hips against him slowly, then stepped back.
"There's no reason for you to sleep out there now, is there?"
A grin formed on Mel's face.
"None that I can think of ... how about you?"
She reached for his hand, and he let her lead him over to the bed; then he slowly undid the buttons of the shirt from the top down, exposing more and more of her lush body until it was completely open. Penny shrugged her shoulders, and it fell to her feet; then her hands went to the clasp of his pants and opened it.
The sound of the opening zipper broke the silence of the room; then he kicked his pants aside and pushed her down onto the bed, dropping down on top of her.
Her hands found his stiff cock and clutched it lovingly; then she spread her legs and guided the massive organ to her open, waiting cunt. Mel let out a gasp of pleasure as he drove his hips forth, driving the thick knob into her; and Penny groaned and threw her head back.
"Slowly, Mel ... we've got the rest of our lives...." He gave it to her slowly, inch by huge throbbing inch, until finally he had driven it to the hilt and his balls slapped against her buttocks. Then he began to stroke in and out of her, slowly at first, and then faster until they were lost in a blur of blissful motion.
Her body tensed, and she arched upward as she felt him approaching his release. Her cry of ecstasy filled the room as he groaned, and the first gushing deluge of thick, creamy love juice ripped into her; then she too shot over the top, her body quaking with pleasure-filled jolts.
Scott took a last drag off his cigarette and crushed it out into the ashtray. His eyes moved over Tony's sleeping form illuminated by the moonlight coming through the window. He still couldn't believe his luck, and he ran his hand over Tony's lax cock to be sure it was true.
Tony stirred and opened his eyes. He smiled, and his cock began to grow under Scott's hand. In seconds it was rigid, and Tony moaned.
"Oh god, I don't know how much of this I can take, but do it again."
He rolled over; and Scott hesitated for a second, running his eyes over the muscular cheeks of his buttocks; then he let out a moan of desire and mounted his mate.
Mel stretched lazily on the bed, and Penny snuggled a little closer to him. He smiled in the darkness and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. It was ironical that all this had come about as a result of mate swapping-first his wife with another man, and now Penny because of Ron. He had never dreamed he'd have anything to be thankful about as far as swapping was concerned, but he had to admit that he was.
One thing was certain; there would never be any swapping for him and Penny ... he'd seen what the other side of the coin could be like. He and Penny had been the lucky ones; the others had paid dearly.
No ... there would be no more room in his life for mixed mates.
