Foreword

Psychologists have long noted that man is a gregarious animal whose need for affection and approval is as real and basic as his need for food and shelter.

This social need is reflected many times over in our everyday lives. There is the teenaged boy who frequently smokes marijuana, though he dislikes it, because he fears being branded a "straight" by his friends. There is the suburban housewife who turns to an illicit affair because her husband, totally dedicated to his business, cannot or will not give her any affection.

This is the story of a fifteen-year-old girl, Kitty Wiley. A typical teenager who enjoys going out on dates, gossiping with girl friends and listening to the latest records, Kitty seeks to fill one big void in her life-the urgent need to experience sex in all its varied forms. In her overwhelming need to fill this void, however, Kitty ignores all the moral rules she has been taught and dares to venture onto forbidden ground-even into the worlds of incest and bestiality. And is Kitty to blame?

For Kitty, seeking affection becomes a way of life, her norm. And for how many other children like her?

Horny Cousins-a novel that poses a timely question for every American family.
